We are not allowed to work part time because of our student visa.
Tips: I definitely noticed a big difference between India and the Philippines, especially in terms of food and culture. Everything was new to me, but I enjoyed learning about their culture and way of life. Most importantly, I appreciated the respect that they showed me. I was unable to get a part-time job because I was on a student visa. The schedule at my university was so busy that I didn't have time to work part-time, and the pay wasn't very good. If you are thinking about working part-time in the Philippines, you may not be able to do so.
Likes (Safety): As far as I know, you won't have any trouble with safety in the Philippines because the people there are so kind and helpful in all aspects. I remember one night when my friends and I were stuck in a city in the Philippines. The people there helped us get home safely, which was a good experience for us.

Davao Medical School Foundation has a diverse campus.
Tips: It is a beautiful place and especially a safe one where discipline is maintained. It was quite different from my place, and it took me some time to adjust to the people. But then it was good. I was lucky enough to have a family who provided for me. I got to see how a hospital actually works, including surgery, outpatient departments, and patient treatment. I also got to go to different hospitals, and the doctors were kind enough to share their experiences and guide the students. I personally never found the time to do part-time work because of the syllabus, exams, and chores around the house. When you get a free moment, it's best to rest. Days pass like minutes, and before you know it, it's the end of the year. So finding time is quite difficult. I was well satisfied with the Davao Medical School Foundation.

The college is good but there is an intense competition for internships.
Tips: Before you join a university, it's important to do your research. Find out about the tuition fees, additional costs, and whether there are scholarships or financial aid available. It's also important to evaluate the campus culture, diversity, and opportunities for extracurricular activities. Internships are available at this university. They provided valuable learning opportunities, exposure to the professional world, and a chance to develop particular skills. However, the intense competition and high level of skills required made it challenging for students to grow. On the plus side, the university also provides opportunities for students to assist in many surgeries, which gives them better exposure to the surgical field.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Vegetarian options were limited, and most of the food offered contained meat or seafood. Vegan options were also limited and more expensive. Filipino food is mostly sticky rice and meat. So I didn't get to eat basmati rice or non-sticky rice very often.

Great college for strong academics.
Tips: Davao Medical School Foundation is academically good but a bit stressful. Scholarships are not offered, so students have to pay their own way. If you can handle the stress, you will get good results. But if you fail, don't give up. Just keep trying hard and you will reach your goal. There are also many on-campus events hosted by thee university for students to participate in and learn something new. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
