Eligibility

• Applicants should be registered as a full-time graduate student at UF (9-12 hours).

• Scholarship applications are evaluated by a faculty committee and scored on the following:

  • Scholastic achievements, honors and awards
  • Leadership activities, including service to department, college, UF or professional societies
  • Teaching activities
  • Scholarship in discipline (publications, posters and presentations, for example)
  • Letters of recommendation
  • Quality of research abstract
  • Academic performance
