Dalhousie University offers the Abdul Majid Bader Graduate Scholarship . Every year, the International Students Office of Dalhousie University awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Abdul Majid Bader Graduate Scholarship is applicable for Masters Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences,Master of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering,MBA Leadership,MEng Chemical Engineering,Master of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering,MEng Biological Engineering,MEng in Environmental Engineering,MEng in Mineral Resource Engineering etc as given below. If we consider the amount of the Abdul Majid Bader Graduate Scholarship , then it varies each semester. The applicants should review the scholarship application in order to fully understand the availability and amount for that particular semester. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their 12th grade and also possess a Bachelor degree.

  • The scholarship is valued at $40,000 for one twelve-month academic year of full-time study. The scholarship is renewable, subject to an annual progress review. The award can be held for a maximum of 24 months of full-time study
  • Fees are not waived and must be paid out of the award

Eligibility

  • Applicants with first-class standing (>3.7/4.3) in their last two years of academic study, who are currently pursuing or intending to pursue studies in any discipline in which Dalhousie offers graduate degrees are welcome to apply once they have submitted an application for admission to their intended program of study

Preference will be given to following candidates:

  • First preference will be given to Iranian students who are residents of Iran
  • Second preference will be given to other international students
