Academic Achievement Grant is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the B.S. in Computer Engineering,B.S. in Accounting,B.S. in Biology,B.S. in Business Administration,B.S. in Data Analytics,B.S. in Health Science,B.S. in Mathematics,B.S. in Mechanical Engineering,B.S. in Psychology,B.S. in Sport Management from University of Bridgeport in USA. This award can be awarded to Multiple candidates. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition. University offers the merit-based scholarship which amounts to USD 5000 and offered on a yearly basis. To be eligible for the Academic Achievement Grant at University of Bridgeport in USA applicants would be required to have passed : 12th and have appear for the following exams: TOEFL, IELTS and PTE.

Eligibility

• Applicants must have passed high school
• Duolingo - 90
• Scholarship recipients will be eligible to receive their scholarship award for the duration of the academic program providing the following conditions are met:
  • Student must be enrolled as an official full time student for each semester in which they receive the scholarship
  • Student must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Recipients will be expected to be remain active participants in their area’s professional student organization
  • Student conduct must be consistent with standards set forth in the “Key to UB” and the respective academic program

Application Process for this scholarship

• Official/notarized/certified/or attested copies of all senior secondary/high school records
• Proof of English language proficiency
• Financial Statement
• Current passport copy
• Submit an original personal statement/essay (250-500 words) clearly explaining why the particular academic program was chosen, what the degree will do for the applicant’s personal and career development, and how such a degree will help them achieve future goals and aspirations
  • Include professional plans for after the program is completed
• Provide at least one letter of recommendation in English
  • These must come in a sealed envelope from professors or employers who can attest to the applicant’s accomplishments and potential for success

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed.
