Academic Merit Scholarship is an additional scholarship which is offered to international students who demonstrate a strong academic performance at the time of application.

Scholarships are awarded to students at the time of admission and are applicable in each stage of study at Griffith University

• AMS level 1- 500 eg 60%+ average in highest level of education to date or IELTS 5.5
• AMS level 2- 1000 eg 70%+ average in highest level of education to date or IELTS 6.0

Applicants with following qualifications are eligible to apply:

• must have passed high school 
• must meet specific requirements to be eligible for certain amount
• must meet english language requirements
• must demonstrate strong academic performance
• must hold an offer to study undegraduate program at the university

Application Process for this scholarship

• A certified copy of academic results 
• A certified copy of English test results and
• Some programs may require you to submit a portfolio of work, or audition (see individual program for details)
• Students will be automatically considered for this scholarship

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed.
