Scholarship Overview

Academic Merit Scholarships - The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) is applicable to only Bachelors Degree students. This is a Merit Based scholarship. Amount offered for this scholarship depends upon the university. This is a yearly scholarship. No of awards for this scholarship depends upon the university.   To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE. All international students are auto-considered for these scholarships when they apply for the courses that have scholarships. The final date for application is 31-03-2023.

Eligibility

• Applicants must have passed high school
• College-preparatory curriculum subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Arts, Advanced electives, Technology or Computer Science, and Pre-High School Units
• TOEFL - 79 with no section subscore lower than 19
• Duolingo - 110
• International students who intend to seek a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Chemistry, and other physical science disciplines that require registration in Calculus 1(Math 261) in their freshman year, must meet the following requirement:
  • Cambridge O Level International Examination (Math) or equivalent with a passing grade of C or higher, or minimum ACT Mathematics score of 25 or minimum SAT Mathematics score of 580
• Scholarship Eligibility: Entering Freshman with minimum 3.0 high school GPA and 23 ACT score for Mississippi residents or 25 ACT score for non-residents (or the SAT/SAT-R equivalent)
