Alex Trebek Leadership Award is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the Certificate in Human Resource Management,BASc in Computer Engineering,BASc in Mechanical Engineering,BASc in Civil Engineering,BASc in Electrical Engineering,Honours BCom (Option in Accounting),Honours BCom (Option in Finance) from University of Ottawa in Canada. This award will be awarded to Single candidate. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition. University offers the merit-based scholarship which amounts to CAD 10000 and offered on a yearly basis As part of the Alex Trebek Leadership Award selection process, applicants would be required to submit the following documents: LOR and CV .

  • The applicant must:
    • be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student;
    • be registered as a full-time undergraduate student at the University of Ottawa;
    • be graduating during the current academic year;
    • demonstrate academic excellence through earning the citation of summa cum laude (this criterion does  not apply to MD students); and
    • have distinguished themselves through involvement in volunteering and community service activities or initiatives
