Scholarship Overview

Alumni Discount is a type of scholarship which is offered by the University of Roehampton . Alumni Discount is awarded to Masters Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given one time. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is 20% of the tuition fee. . Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. The following documentation is required from students in order to apply for the scholarship: LOR.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be enrolling in a programme which is taught on campus
• Those holding a full Roehampton Undergraduate degree or Postgraduate award are eligible, including alumni who obtained a Roehampton degree at a partner institution
• Applicants who completed a period of study abroad at Roehampton are also eligible for this discount
• Applicants must also fulfill course specific eligibilities

• Two references- A written recommendation from a teacher, adviser or professional who knows the applicant academically is required
• Personal Statement required, which should answers the questions below:
  • Why you are applying – your ambitions and what interests you about the subject, course providers and higher education
  • What makes you suitable – any relevant skills, experience or achievements gained from education, work or other activities
  • Why you want to study in the UK
  • Why you want to be an international student rather than study in your own  country
• Academic transcripts and certificates
• Proof of ELP scores
