Scholarship Overview

Alumni Excellence Master's Scholarship - SSPSSR is offered by the University of Kent to international students. Alumni Excellence Master's Scholarship - SSPSSR is available for students from all countries who want to study Masters Degree in the UK at the University of Kent. Every year, the university selects a certain number of candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is GBP 4500 at University of Kent. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program. To be considered for this award, applicants must have a Bachelor degree. Alumni Excellence Master's Scholarship - SSPSSR is available for the Masters Degree. We have listed below the Masters Degree Programmes of University of Kent that are eligible for the scholarship:

• For students who obtain/have obtained a First Class honours classification in a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kent:
  • Home – £2,500
  • EU – £3,250
  • Overseas – £4,500
• For students who obtain/have obtained an Upper Second Class (2.1) honours classification in a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kent:
  • Home – £1,500
  • EU – £2,000
  • Overseas – £3,000

Eligibility

• Students are completing/have completed an undergraduate bachelor’s degree at the University of Kent
• Must have applied to study one of the following taught Master’s courses in SSPSSR: MA Criminology, MA Sociology, MA Methods of Social Research, MA International Social Policy (one year MA only), MA Philanthropic Studies for entry in September 2022
