Andrew's Corporate Clothing Scholarship is offered by the Australian Catholic University to international students. Andrew's Corporate Clothing Scholarship is available for students from all countries who want to study Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in the Australia at the Australian Catholic University. Every year, the university selects 14 candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is AUD 1000 at Australian Catholic University. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program.

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to current ACU students who meet all of the following criteria:

  • student must be undertaking a placement
  • must be enrolled in any undergraduate or postgraduate course in faculty of health sciences 
  • must be enrolled in a placement unit in the academic year in which the scholarship is awarded.
  • must have completed the Faculty Pre-Placement Requirements
  • must not have previously failed any professional practice/clinical units of study in their course

Application Process for this scholarship

Application process- Applicants will be required to provide the following as part of the application:

  •  Written statement of approximately 400 words outlining.
    • any hardship or barriers you have faced in accessing and/or completing your professional placements (these may include but are not limited to: financial hardship, disability, illness, carer responsibilities)
    • how your degree will change your future.
    • why are you planning to undertake this placement and what do you hope to gain from it.
  • Evidence of undertaking a rural or regional placement 
  • Evidence to support points made in your written statement. (These may include but are not limited to: Centrelink Statement, Tax Income Statement, medical letter, or a statutory declaration) 

Selection criteria- Applications are assessed based on the strength of the following criteria:

  • Written statement
  • Preference will be given to students undertaking placement in a regional or rural area , as classified by the Rural, Remote and Metropolitan Area (RRMA) 
  • Hardships and barriers to accessing education.

The recipients will be selected by the Scholarships Office
