Anthony Daimsis Prize is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the Certificate in Law,Honours BSocSc in Political Science and Juris Doctor (JD) from University of Ottawa in Canada. This award will be awarded to Single candidate. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition.University offers the merit-based scholarship which amounts to CAD 1000 and offered on a yearly basis.

Eligibility

• The candidate must:
  • be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student; 
  • be registered as a full-time or part-time student in an undergraduate program at the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section of the University of Ottawa; and 
  • have achieved the highest grade in the course CML4341 - Contracts

Application Process for this scholarship

• No application is required, the prize is awarded automatically.
• In case of a tie among several candidates, the average obtained in the compulsory courses for the program of study (rounded to two decimal places) is used to determine the recipient. If there is still a tie, the recipient will be selected by the Common Law Section, based on the student's academic record
