Eligibility

• Applicants must have passed high school
• Duolingo - 90
• International undergraduate students who wish to apply for an athletic scholarship must take the SAT Examination
• Scholarship recipients will be eligible to receive their scholarship award for the duration of the academic program providing the following conditions are met:
  • Student must be enrolled as an official full time student for each semester in which they receive the scholarship
  • Student must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Recipients will be expected to be remain active participants in their area’s professional student organization
  • Student conduct must be consistent with standards set forth in the “Key to UB” and the respective academic program

Application Process for this scholarship

• Official/notarized/certified/or attested copies of all senior secondary/high school records
• Proof of English language proficiency
• Financial Statement
• Current passport copy
• Submit an original personal statement/essay (250-500 words) clearly explaining why the particular academic program was chosen, what the degree will do for the applicant’s personal and career development, and how such a degree will help them achieve future goals and aspirations
  • Include professional plans for after the program is completed
• Provide at least one letter of recommendation in English
  • These must come in a sealed envelope from professors or employers who can attest to the applicant’s accomplishments and potential for success

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed.
