Scholarship Overview

Batten Entrepreneurial Scholarship are offered at University of Virginia to those international students who are pursuing a Masters Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only maximum number of students, depending on the University student. Batten Entrepreneurial Scholarship are valued at USD 35556 for maximum number of students, depending on the University student who qualify from University of Virginia. Also, the Batten Entrepreneurial Scholarship is a one time tuition reducing scholarship, offered in the first year of Masters Degree only. Applications for Batten Entrepreneurial Scholarship at University of Virginia are filed separately. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their 12th grade and also possess a Bachelor degree. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English language examinations as well as standardised exams like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, GRE and GMAT. As part of the selection process, students must attend an interview. In order to apply for the scholarship, students need the following documents: LOR, Essays, CV and Official Transcripts. Along with the Batten Entrepreneurial Scholarship application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for Batten Entrepreneurial Scholarship would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to University of Virginia Masters Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards University of Virginia community and of course the academic achievements.

Eligibility

• Applicant must have completed their bachelor's degree at a college or university in the United States or hold a college or university degree equivalent to a four-year American baccalaureate degree
• Applicants with only three years of bachelors degree will also be considered
• Candidates who received their bachelor's degree from a university where the medium of instruction was English are not required to take an English language assessment test
• Applicants will be interviewed
