Scholarship Overview

BDO Accounting Scholarship is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the Honours BCom (Option in Accounting) from University of Ottawa in Canada. This award can be awarded to Multiple candidates. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition. University offers the merit-based scholarship which amounts to CAD 2000 and offered on a yearly basis. As part of the BDO Accounting Scholarship selection process, applicants would be required to submit the following documents: CV

Eligibility

• The applicant must:
  • be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student;
  • be registered as a full-time student in the second, third or fourth year of the accounting program at the Telfer School of Management;
  • have distinguished himself/herself through academic merit (CGPA of 7.0 or higher); 
  • be committed to obtaining a CPA designation; and
  • demonstrate that he/she has volunteered or is volunteering in broader community related activities, including the Telfer School of Management's community life
