    • be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student;
    • be registered as a full-time student-athlete (as per CIS and USports regulations), and have completed at least one year of full-time undergraduate studies at the University of Ottawa;
    • have demonstrated academic excellence; and 
    • have been involved in the Gee-Gees interuniversity football team
