Scholarship Overview

Biomedical International Discovery Scholarship is offered by the Monash University . Biomedical International Discovery Scholarship is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given on a yearly basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is AUD 9000. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. Eligibility

• Applicants:
  • must currently in Year 12 (or equivalent), or completed Year 12 (or equivalent) in the previous year and has not undertaken any other tertiary study
  • must be commencing the Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Scholar Program) at a Monash campus in Australia
  • must maintain a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 to retain this scholarship
• English Language Requirements:
  • TOEFL- Overall 79, Reading: 13, Listening: 12, Writing: 21, Speaking: 18
  • IELTS-  Overall 6.5, Reading: 6.0, Listening: 6.0, Writing: 6.0, Speaking: 6.0
  • PTE - Overall 58, No PTE communicative skills score below 50
