Scholarship Overview

BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus offers the BITS PILANI Merit In BITSAT Scholarship. This one time scholarship offered by the International Students Office of BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. BITS PILANI Merit In BITSAT Scholarship is applicable for Bachelors Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like B.E. Biotechnology,B.E. Chemical Engineering,B.E. Mechanical Engineering,B.E. Civil Engineering,B.E. Electronics and Communications Engineering,B.E. Computer Science,B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering. If we consider the amount of the BITS PILANI Merit In BITSAT Scholarship, then it varies each semester. The applicants should review the scholarship application in order to fully understand the availability and amount for that particular semester. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as TOEFL, IELTS .

• A tuition waiver of 25% is offered for the first year of Academic Year 2022-23
• Admitted Candidates with BITSAT 2022 (or BITSAT 2021) score of 200 or above will be offered a 25% concession in the Hostel fee for the normal duration of the program (four years)

Eligibility

• Applicants should have obtained scores between 200-249 in the BITSAT 2022 (or BITSAT 2021) Examination 
• Applicants need a minimum 60% aggregate overall in their 12th with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects with at least 50% marks in each subject
• • English is the medium of instruction, therefore good proficiency in English is essential for admission. Candidates who have completed their qualifying examination from Non-English medium must have secured a minimum TOEFL Score of 500 in paper based test or 61 in internet based test or have an IELTS Score of 5 or above.
