Scholarship Overview

University of Kentucky offers the Bluegrass Spirit Scholarship. Every year, the International Students Office of University of Kentucky awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Bluegrass Spirit Scholarship is applicable for Bachelors Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like Bachelor of Business Administration - Marketing,Bachelor of Business Administration - Management,B.S. in Chemical Engineering,B.S. in Materials Engineering,B.S. Electrical Engineering,B.S. Computer Engineering,Bachelor of Business Administration - Finance,Bachelor of Science in Business Economics (BSBE) etc as given below. If we consider the amount of the Bluegrass Spirit Scholarship, then it varies each semester. The applicants should review the scholarship application in order to fully understand the availability and amount for that particular semester. Students must have taken the 12th grade to be eligible for this scholarship. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English language examinations as well as standardised exams like TOEFL, IELTS and SAT. The following documentation is required from students in order to apply for the scholarship: LOR, Financial Documents and Official Transcripts.

    • 3.00 GPA- $5000
    • 3.00 & 25 ACT/1200 SAT or 3.50 - $8,000
    • 3.50 & 25 ACT/1200 SAT or 3.60 - $10,000
    • 3.50 & 30 ACT/1360 SAT or 3.80 - $12,500
