Brigitte Chan Intellectual Property Scholarship is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the Certificate in Law,Honours Bachelor of Commerce and Juris Doctor,Honours BSocSc in Political Science and Juris Doctor (JD) from University of Ottawa in Canada. This award will be awarded to Single candidate. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition. University offers the merit-based scholarship which amounts to CAD 2000 and offered on a yearly basis. As part of the Brigitte Chan Intellectual Property Scholarship selection process, applicants would be required to submit the following documents: CV.

  • Applicants must:
    • be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with protected or refugee status, or an international student;
    • be enrolled in an undergraduate program in the Faculty of Law, Civil Law Section, of the University of Ottawa; 
    • be enrolled in or have taken the Propriété intellectuelle et industrielle course (DRC 4754); and
    • demonstrate that they wish to work in the field of intellectual property.
