Scholarship Overview

BSc Architecture scholarship is offered by the University of Reading . BSc Architecture scholarship is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given on a yearly basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is GBP 1000. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To be eligible for this grant, applicants must have taken the 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like IELTS and PTE. As part of the selection process, students must attend an interview. Students must submit the following documentation to be considered for the scholarship: LOR, Extra Curricular Activities and Official Transcripts.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the scheme applicants must meet the following criteria: 

• Academic achievement of grades AAB at A-Level (or equivalent)
• An impressive performance at interview, which demonstrates excellent design and representation skills and a clear commitment to studying architecture at the University of Reading
• Applicant must have completed XII grade-Higher Secondary School certificates with high overall scores if the certificate has been awarded by CBSE or CISCE boards
• English Language Proficiency:
  • IELTS: 6.5
  • PTE: 69 overall with min. 59 in each component/69 overall with min. 64 in each component
  • The student scoring 70% in English in class 12th from CBSE/ICSE board and scoring 75% from other boards are exempted from giving ELP requirements
