Scholarship Overview

Camillus Residence Accommodation Scholarship is offered by the Australian Catholic University to international students. Camillus Residence Accommodation Scholarship is available for students from all countries who want to study Bachelors Degree in the Australia at the Australian Catholic University. Every year, the university selects 5 candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is AUD 2080 at Australian Catholic University. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program.

• This scholarship provides a 20% remission in accommodation fees, paid towards a two semester or 12-month rental agreement in the property and room type of your choice.
• Recipients will also be given the opportunity to be involved in Campus Ministry formation, as well as team building and mission-based activities within the Camillus Residence and on campus.

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to students who meet all of the following criteria:

• must be enrolling in any undergraduate degree at ballarat campus 
• Can demonstrate engagement activities that align with ACU's Mission and Values 

Application Process for this scholarship

Application process- Applicants will be required to provide the following as part of the application:

• A written statement of approximately 200 words outlining:
  • how you engage with your school and /or local community, and  
  • how this aligns with ACU's Mission and Values. 
• A letter in support of the actions outlined in your written statement (this may be from a Principal, teacher, community or religious leader). 
• (if?relevant) Evidence of?your?regional, rural or remote address.

Selection criteria- Applications are assessed based on the strength of the following criteria:

• Written statement 
• Alignment to ACU’s Mission and Values 
• Preference will be given to applicants who have relocated from a regional, rural or remote location.

The recipients will be selected by the ACU Scholarships Office
