Scholarship Overview

Chancellor's Academic Merit Scholarship is offered by the University of Birmingham Dubai . Chancellor's Academic Merit Scholarship is awarded to Masters Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given on a yearly basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is UAE Dirham 40976. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To qualify for the award, candidates must have completed the Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE.

Eligibility

• Applicants must hold a good Honours degree (2:1 or higher) or postgraduate diploma from a UK university or equivalent
• Either a four-year Bachelors's degree (first-class or very good upper second class) Or a three-year Bachelors's degree (first-class) from recognized institutions in India
• English Language Proficiency:
• IELTS: 6.5 with 6.0 in each component
• PTE: 67 with no less than 64 in all four skills
• TOEFL: 88 overall with no less than 21 in Reading, 20 in Listening, 22 in Speaking and 21 in Writing
