Scholarship Overview

Chancellor's Academic Merit Scholarship is offered by the University of Birmingham Dubai . Chancellor's Academic Merit Scholarship is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given on a yearly basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is UAE Dirham 37936. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To be eligible for this grant, applicants must have taken the 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE.

Eligibility

• Holders of the Indian Standard XII with 85 - 75% CBSE will be considered
• English Language Proficiency:
• IELTS: 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in any band
• PTE: 67 with no less than 64 in all four skills
• TOEFL: 80 overall with no less than 19 in Reading, 19 in Listening, 21 in Speaking and 19 in Writing
