Scholarship Overview

Chicago Consular Corps Professional Development Award is applicable to only Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree students. This is a Merit Based scholarship. Chicago Consular Corps Scholarship award up to USD 1000 on a one time basis to various international students. This scholarship will be offered to 10 student every year. All international students are auto-considered for these scholarships when they apply for the courses that have scholarships.

  • Full time degree-seeking students in any discipline who are international(those at UIConaninternational studentvisa) undergraduate,professional orgraduate students.
  • Minimum cumulative UICGPA of 3.25 (on a4-point scale).
  • Demonstration of how the award will support the applicant’s research project and/orprofessionaldevelopment

Application Process for this scholarship

  • Personal Information Form (see below): Completed and signed by applicant.
  • Statement of Academic and Professional Goals (maximum of 500 words) explaining youracademic and career goals.
  • Description of the research project or professional development activity for which funding isbeingrequested, and how the scholarship will support this work.
  • Resume or CV including academic awards or honors, student organizations, study abroad,internshipsor volunteer work and employment.
  • Academic Reference Form (see below): The form must be completed by a university faculty or staff member and submitted separately by the referee via their UIC e-mail to oge@uic.edu. The maximum number of references is two (2)
