Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme is awarded for pursuing MSc in Sustainable Development (SD) at University of St Andrews. A student can get a maximum amount of GBP 38925 and the scholarship amount will be given one time only. The scholarship amount can be used for paying tuition, living, travel and airfare. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their 12th grade and also possess a Bachelor degree. The total amount payout includes Tuition (£25450) and Living expenses of £13475.
It also covers the following-
Approved airfare from the applicant's home country to the UK and return at the end of their award (arranged by the university; funded by the CSC)
Examination fees
Warm clothing allowance
Study travel grant towards the costs of study-related travel within the UK or overseas (claimed from and paid by the university; funded by the CSC)
Excess baggage allowance, up to an annual approved limit, when returning home (claimed from and paid by the university; funded by the CSC)

must be a Commonwealth citizen, refugee, or British protected person
must be permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country
must hold a first degree of either first or upper second class (2:1) classification, or lower second class (2:2) classification plus a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s degree)
must not have studied or worked for one (academic) year or more in a developed country
must be unable to pay themselves or through their families for the study
