Scholarship Overview

Computer Science International Excellence Scholarship is applicable to only Bachelors courses. This is a merit based scholarship. Computer Science International Excellence Scholarship award up to Pound 3,000 one time to various international students. The number of students to be awarded this scholarship are 10 each year. To be eligible for this scholarship students need to appear for IELTS and PTE.Students must have passed 12th and to be eligible for this scholarship. All international students irrespective of their Nationality can apply for a Computer Science International Excellence Scholarship. If an applicant has already received a free bursary or has applied for another scholarship offered by the university, then he/she is not eligible for this scholarship. All international students are auto-considered for these scholarships when they apply for the courses that have scholarships.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this award you must:

• Indian Standard XII: Overall: 95% ISC, CBSE, Maharashtra; or 90% West Bengal; or 95% Other State board
• A*AA (including Mathematics) or international equivalent in university-entrance qualifications
• Be classified as international for fees on your acceptance to the university.
• Be accepted to one of the engineering courses for year 1 entry in 2023 after placing it as firm choice in UCAS
• English language requirements i.e IELTS 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any band and PTE 51 in all four skills
• Conversion from other qualification systems is calculated internally by the university
• This Computer Science Excellence award (£3000) is not renewable and cannot be held in conjunction with the Computer Science International Achievement Scholarship in first year

• Written recommendation from a teacher, adviser or professional who knows the applicant academically
• Academic transcript
• English Language proficiency scores
• A copy of passport
• Personal Statement required of 4000 characters, which should answer the questions below:
•  Why you’d like to study a particular course or subject
•  What skills and experience you possess that show your passion for your chosen field

• No application is required, successful applicants will be contacted by the beginning of September 2023.   

Scholarship Application

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed.
