Scholarship Overview

Conrad Family MBET Scholarships are offered at University of Waterloo to those international students who are pursuing a Masters Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only maximum number of students, depending on the University student. Conrad Family MBET Scholarships are valued at CAD 20000 for maximum number of students, depending on the University student who qualify from University of Waterloo. Also, the Conrad Family MBET Scholarships is a one time tuition reducing scholarship, offered in the first year of Masters Degree only. Applications for Conrad Family MBET Scholarships at University of Waterloo are filed separately. Bachelor degree is required for applicants to be eligible for this scholarship. Along with the Conrad Family MBET Scholarships application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for Conrad Family MBET Scholarships would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to University of Waterloo Masters Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards University of Waterloo community and of course the academic achievements.

Eligibility

• Full-time graduate students registered in the Master of Business and Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) program in the Conrad Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology Centre in the Faculty of Engineering are eligible for this scholarship
• Applicants must hold an offer of admission to the MBET program
• Must have excellent academic record
• Must have entrepreneurial orientation
• Scholarship recipients will be selected by a panel of faculty members based on entrepreneurial passion, quality of the business plan and record of academic achievement

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• Preference will be given to domestic applications and applications from Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents. Exceptional international applicants may also be considered
