ATU Sligo is delighted to offer scholarship opportunities to international students. This scholarships are available to Non-EU International students who are applying to full time, on-campus courses at ATU Sligo.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold following qualifications to be eligible for this scholarship:

  • Standard XII examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education with a minimum score of 70% overall including 65% in Maths & English.
  • 3 or 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject from a recognised higher education institution that is considered comparable to a 2:2 Irish Bachelor (Honours) Degree (NQF Level 8)
  • Non-EU applicants who have received an offer to study on a full-time, on-campus programme at ATU Sligo and who are eligible for Non-EU tuition fees.
  • English language requirements:

  • Undergraduate Courses: IELTS 5.5. overall (with score of 5.0 in each component), PTE 51, TOEFL overall score 70

     

  • Postgraduate Courses: IELTS 6.0 overall (with a score of 5.5 in each component), PTE score 55, TOEFL score 80

Additional Information

  • The scholarship will be awarded every year provided the student has completed all 60 ECTS Stage credits (Stages 1, 2, 3, 4) and is ‘Approved to Progress’ to the next Stage of their programme.
  • If a student must repeat attend OR repeat exams only, they will not qualify for a scholarship for that academic year.
  • If the student successfully completes their repeat year, they can qualify for the scholarship again in subsequent year.
