Scholarship Overview

CUHK Diversity Excellence Scholarship for Professionals in Asia for Professionals in Asia is applicable to only Masters Degree students. This is a Merit Based scholarship. Amount offered for this scholarship depends upon the university. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their 12th grade and also possess a Bachelor degree. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English language examinations as well as standardised exams like TOEFL, IELTS, GRE and GMAT. As a part of selection process, applicants must have relevant work experience and also needs to appear for an interview. In order to apply for the scholarship, students need the following documents: LOR, CV and Official Transcripts. All international students are auto-considered for these scholarships when they apply for the courses that have scholarships. The final date for application is 31-03-2023.

Eligibility

  • Diversity Excellence Scholarship for Professionals in Asia is awarded to outstanding professionals from Asian countries. Applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
    • Extensive international exposure
    • Strong academic credentials and outstanding professional experience and achievements
    • Be a citizen or permanent resident of Japan, Republic of Korea, India, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, The Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam
  • Program requirement:  
    • A recognized bachelor’s degree (normally with honours not lower than Second Class or B grade); or completed a course of study in a tertiary educational institution and obtained professional or similar qualifications equivalent to an honours degree
    • Minimum two years of full-time post-qualification work experience
