DCU International Merit Scholarship- UG is offered by the Dublin City University to international students. DCU International Merit Scholarship- UG is available for students from any country who want to study Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in the Ireland at the Dublin City University. Every year, the university selects a certain number of candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is Euro 2000 at Dublin City University. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program.

Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons),BSc in Marketing, Innovation and Technology,BSc in Digital Business and Innovation,BSc in Aviation Management with Pilot Studies etc. To be eligible for this grant, applicants must have taken the 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE.

Eligibility

    • Standard XII 80%
    • Maths & English 80%
    • Specific subject requirements 70-80%

  • IELTS: Overall score of 6.5 or above, with no less than 6.0 in any one skill. DCU Business School additionally requires 6.5 in speaking and writing

  • TOEFL: Total Score of 92. DCU Business School additionally requires all section scores 21 or above

  • PTE Academic: Overall score of 63 with no less than a score of 59 in any component. DCU Business School additionally requires 63 in speaking and writing

  • English language certificate must be awarded  within two years of the start date of the DCU programme

Terms and Conditions

  • Students must be NON EU Self Funding studying for the first time at DCU and liable for full NON EU fees only and
  • Students must not be in receipt of other scholarship funding
  • Scholarships are 'one off',  'stand alone' and will be offset against tuition only on Full Time One Year Masters Programmes and Year One only of Full Time Undergraduate Programmes
  • For students who achieve 'EU fee status' after any post offer/acceptance fee assessment, the scholarship cannot be paid once the status changes to EU and will negate any previous correspondance confirming scholarhip
  • Applies to Full Time Eligible programmes only
  • For student who receive the full €2000 scholarship, it is expected that they fulfil at least one 'International Student Ambassadorial' commitment throughout the academic year where possible
  • DCU International's decision will be final
