Deakin India 25 percent Merit Scholarship are offered at Deakin University to those international students who are pursuing a Bachelors Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only maximum number of students, depending on the University. Deakin India 25 percent Merit Scholarship are valued at AUD 8600 for maximum number of students, depending on the University who qualify from Deakin University. Also, the Deakin India 25 percent Merit Scholarship helps students in reducing tuition on a yearly basis, offered in the first year of Bachelors Degree only. Applications for Deakin India 25 percent Merit Scholarship at Deakin University are filed separately. Students must have taken the 12th grade to be eligible for this scholarship. Along with the Deakin India 25 percent Merit Scholarship application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for Deakin India 25 percent Merit Scholarship would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to Deakin University Bachelors Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards Deakin University community and of course the academic achievements.

Eligibility

To be eligible, the below criteria must be met:

• Applicant should be be an Indian citizen living in India
• Applicant should be residing in India at the time of application
• Applicant should be applying through any Deakin Authorised agent based in INDIA
• An overall score of 80% and above in the 12th standard (as specified by NOOSR) when applying for an undergraduate program.

• Students who meet the selection and eligibility criteria will automatically receive a 25% fee reduction to the total indicative tuition fee stated in the Letter of Offer

• A non-refundable application fee of A$55, in the form of a bankdraft made payable to Deakin University.

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed.
