Scholarship Overview

Deakin International Scholarship are offered at Deakin University to those international students who are pursuing a Masters Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only maximum number of students, depending on the University.Also, the Deakin International Scholarship helps students in reducing tuition on a yearly basis, offered in the first year of Masters Degree only. Applications for Deakin International Scholarship at Deakin University are filed separately. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their 12th grade and also possess a Bachelor degree. Along with the Deakin International Scholarship application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for Deakin International Scholarship would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to Deakin University Masters Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards Deakin University community and of course the academic achievements.

• This scholarship is applicable for all the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the university

Conversion rate used: 1 AUD = Rs. 57.55 (last updated 26th September 2024)

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• be a prospective international student for a coursework degree at Deakin University
• be eligible to study at Deakin University
• have achieved a 65% average (or equivalent) in previous studies.

Applicants may also be asked to attend an interview

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• Selection criteria:
  • Selection of successful applicants for the fixed number of scholarships will be competitive and may require scores above the stated minimum requirements
