Scholarship Overview

Delft University of Technology offers the Delft University of Technology Holland MSc Scholarship. This one time scholarship offered by the International Students Office of Delft University of Technology awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Delft University of Technology Holland MSc Scholarship is applicable for Masters Degree. The award is applicable for the courses like MSc Applied Mathematics,MSc Systems & Control,MSc Chemical Engineering,MSc Electrical Engineering,MSc Mechanical Engineering,MSc Civil Engineering,MSc Management of Technology,MSc Applied Physics. To qualify for the award, candidates must have completed the Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as TOEFL and IELTS. • The scholarship amounts to € 5,000 
• The awardee will receive this in the first year of their studies as a contribution to living expenses for a TU Delft MSc program based on the statutory fee or institutional rate, according to the registered nationality
• A candidate can be awarded multiple Holland Scholarships, based on merit, to a maximum of 3 (€15.000)

Eligibility

• A 4-year bachelor's degree from a recognized institution with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 75% or better
• First Class with Distinction or First Class is required
• Must satisfy the English language proficiency requirement with one of the following tests:
  • TOEFL with a minimum score of 21 for each section
  • IELTS with a minimum of 6.0 for each section

• LOR: Two reference letters in English. These letters must be:
  • From either a previous professor or assistant professor, If an applicant has work experience, one of the letters can be from the employer
  • Written on the official letterhead /have the official stamp of the university or company
  • Signed by the referee and must include applicants complete name
• Essay: A clear and relevant essay in English (1,000 – 1,500 words) addressing the following:
  • The motivation for choosing this MSc program
  • Why applicants are interested in TU Delft and what would they expect to find in the University
  • If this MSc program has a specialization (s), which specialization interests the applicant most and why?
  • Describe the hypothetical thesis project: what kind of project would they prefer? What would the applicant want to explore? Please limit the answer to three possible topics
  • Summarize in a maximum of 250 words applicants thesis work or final assignment/project. Please include information about the workload
• CV: An extensive curriculum vitae (resume) written in English
• An original or certified copy of the official academic transcript
• Proof of identity (Photocopy of the page(s) of the passport that shows the name, date of birth, place of birth, and the passport expiration date)
