Scholarship Overview

Department of Biology Scholarship Fund is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the Honours BSc in Biology,Honours BSc in Biology (Research Focus),Honours BSc in Biomedical Science,Honours BSc in Biomedical Science (Research Focus),Master of Science in Biology from University of Ottawa in Canada. This award can be awarded to Multiple candidates. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition. University offers the merit-based scholarship which amounts to CAD 1000 and offered on a yearly basis As part of the Department of Biology Scholarship Fund selection process, applicants would be required to submit the following documents: LOR and CV.

Eligibility

• The applicant must:
  • be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student; 
  • be registered to a biology of biomedical science program. Graduate students must be supervised or co-supervised by a professor at the Department of Biology; and
  • demonstrate academic excellence and involvement in the Department's activities
