Scholarship Overview

Derrick and Lytta Pereira Prize is offered by the University of Lethbridge to international students. Derrick and Lytta Pereira Prize is available for students from all countries who want to study Masters Degree in the Canada at the University of Lethbridge. Every year, the university selects a certain number of candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is CAD 1500 at University of Lethbridge. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English language examinations as well as standardised exams like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, GMAT.

Eligibility

• Applicants must:-
  • Hold a baccalaureate degree (i.e.undergraduate degree) in a related discipline
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.00 (based on the uLethbridge 4.00 scale) on the last 20 graded university-level term courses OR calculated on the most recent master's degree if the applicant is applying for another master's degree
• A minimum GMAT score of 600 and 4.0 on the Analytical Writing portion is required. All bands must be in the 50th percentile or higher
  • Waiver is available for students who have a University of Lethbridge Bachelor of Management degree or its academic equivalent from another recognized degree granting institution, in the discipline of interest or in a closely cognate discipline and have a minimum GPA of 3.70 or equivalent (based on the University of Lethbridge 4.00 scale) on the last 10 graded university level term courses
• IELTS - 6.5, and a minimum score of 6.0 in each band
• Duolingo - 115
