Scholarship Overview

Direct Admit Scholarship are offered at Indiana University to those international students who are pursuing a Bachelors Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only maximum number of students, depending on the University. Direct Admit Scholarship are valued at USD 2000 for maximum number of students, depending on the University who qualify from Indiana University. Also, the Direct Admit Scholarship helps students in reducing tuition on a yearly basis, offered in the first year of Bachelors Degree only. Applications for Direct Admit Scholarship at Indiana University are filed separately. Students must have taken the 12th grade to be eligible for this scholarship. Along with the Direct Admit Scholarship application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for Direct Admit Scholarship would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to Indiana University Bachelors Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards Indiana University community and of course the academic achievements.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be a freshman enrolling in the eligible program with direct admission to the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering
• Applicants who have demonstrated leadership skills, boast competitive grades, SAT or ACT scores, and who plan to use technology in their future career plans are eligible
• Own a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale

Preference will be given to following candidates:

Application Process for this scholarship

• Application Process:
  • To be considered for SSA applicant must have admitted to Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering through the Direct Admission process
  • If the applicant is admitted to IU, meets the initial eligibility criteria, and is offered direct admission he/she will receive a Selective Scholarship Application (SSA) in his/her admission packet and via email from the Office of Scholarships
    • Complete and return the SSA by the specified date
