Malone Scholarship for Women at the Faculty of Social Sciences is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the Bachelors in Criminology,Honours BA in Psychology,Honours BSocSc in Environmental Economics and Public Policy,Bachelor of Social Sciences,Honours BSocSc in Anthropology,Honours BSocSc in Conflict Studies and Human Rights from University of Ottawa in Canada. This award can be awarded to Multiple candidates. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition. University offers the need-based scholarship which amounts to CAD 1000 and offered on a yearly basis.

Eligibility

• The applicant must: 
  • be a woman who is a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student;
  • be a mature student who is at least 35 years old;
  • be registered as a full-time or part-time student in an undergraduate program at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ottawa; and
  • be in good academic standing
