Scholarship Overview

Dr. Franco J. Vaccarino President's Scholarship is offered by the University of Guelph . Dr. Franco J. Vaccarino President's Scholarship is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given on a yearly basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is CAD 42500. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. Students must have taken the 12th grade to be eligible for this scholarship.

Eligibility

• Applicants are eligible to apply if they:
  • Are an International (VISA) student;
  • Are entering the first semester of any degree program at the University of Guelph;
  • Have not previously attended a post-secondary institution;
  • Have at least an admission average equivalent to a 90.0% Canadian curriculum; and
  • Have made significant leadership contributions to your school and community.
