Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be full-time students 
  • Applicants must be international or out of state students, not receiving in state tuition rate
  • Applicants must have completed preparatory or undergraduate education in East Asia or Southeast Asia
  • Applicants must be admitted to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree in the College
  • Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of not less than 3.6
  • Applicants must have financial need as described in a statement about work history since they have become students at the University and the inability of family to provide financial support towards attaining a degree

Preference will be given to following candidates:

  • Preference will be given to students majoring in Electrical Engineering
