Eligibility

Requirements: 

• Economics majors with a minimum of 45 hours of academic credit at the time of application, who will continue at ISU for at least one more academic year
• Applicants should demonstrate strong academic achievement as evidenced by a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale along with demonstration of financial need

• A recommendation from one faculty member should be sent directly to the Chairperson of the Department of Economics by the application deadline.
• On the back of application form (or on a separate sheet of paper) explain why you believe you should be selected as this year’s recipient of the Dr. John Chizmar-Dr. Anthony Ostrosky Undergraduate Scholarship. Also discuss your career goals, and if you want your financial need to be considered, please describe that as well.
