Dr. Olivier Gauthier-Kwan Athletic Scholarship is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the BASc in Computer Engineering,BASc in Mechanical Engineering,BASc in Civil Engineering,BASc in Electrical Engineering,Honours BCom (Option in Accounting),Honours BCom (Option in Finance),Honours BCom (Option in Marketing) from University of Ottawa in Canada. This award will be awarded to Single candidate. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition. University offers the need-based scholarship which amounts to CAD 1000 and offered on a yearly basis.

  • The applicant must:
    • be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student; 
    • be registered as a student at the University of Ottawa; 
    • meet the minimum academic standard required by the Ontario University Athletics Conference (OUA) or the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ), and USports for athletic awards; 
    • be a member of the Gee-Gees interuniversity track and field team; and
    • demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa.
