Dr. Thomas Moon Scholarship is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the Master of Science in Environmental Sustainability,Master of Science in Biology from University of Ottawa in Canada. This award will be awarded to Single candidate. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition. University offers the merit-based scholarship which amounts to CAD 5000 and offered on a yearly basis As part of the Dr. Thomas Moon Scholarship selection process, applicants would be required to submit the following documents: LOR.

Eligibility

• The applicant must:
  • be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student;
  • be registered as a full-time student in a graduate program at the Department of Biology of the Faculty of Science of the University of Ottawa; and
  • be conducting research on fish physiology or toxicology as part of their program of study.

• Applications must be made through Online Scholarships and Bursaries, which can be accessed through the uoZone portal, and should include: 
  • a letter from the applicant (max. 500 words) summarizing their research activities on fish physiology or toxicology; and
  • a letter of recommendation from the applicant's supervisor. The supervisor must send their letter to bioassis@uottawa.ca
