DSU Rising Scholarship is offered by the Dakota State University . DSU Rising Scholarship is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given on a yearly basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is USD 5000. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. Students must have taken the 12th grade to be eligible for this scholarship. To be eligible for this award, international students must take standardised examinations such as SAT.   • DSU Rising Scholarship at $20,000 ($5,000 per year)

To remain eligible for the DSU Rising scholarships you must continue to meet the following criteria:

  • Maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 on a semester basis.
  • Remain a full-time DSU student, successfully completing a minimum of 30 DSU credit hours per academic year. (A minimum of 30 credit hours MUST be taken through DSU and taught by a DSU professor each academic year.)
  • Maintain continuous undergraduate full-time enrollment through Dakota State University. (No breaks in academic year semester enrollment, summer is not included.)
  • Maintain enrollment in an undergraduate degree within The Beacom College of Computer and Cyber Sciences
