Scholarship Overview

Economics Excellence Scholarship is applicable to only Masters courses. This is a merit based scholarship. Economics Excellence Scholarship award up to Pound 25,930 one time to various international students. 1 scholarship is awarded to student each year. To be eligible for this scholarship students need to appear for IELTS and PTE.Students must have passed 12th and Undergraduate degree to be eligible for this scholarship. All international students irrespective of their Nationality can apply for a Economics Excellence Scholarship . If an applicant has already received a free bursary or has applied for another scholarship offered by the university, then he/she is not eligible for this scholarship. All international students are auto-considered for these scholarships when they apply for the courses that have scholarships.

Eligibility

• Applicants must hold undergraduate degree (or equivalent) specialising mainly in economics.
• This means applicants should have achieved a good standard in undergraduate courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics/ economics statistics at an intermediate level.
• Agood standard achieved in mathematics taken at undergraduate level is also expected
• Applicants must meet the english language requirements
• Band A- IELTS overall 6.5, none below 6.0 and PTE 62 (including 59 + in all components)

• There is no application process for this scholarship. All eligible applicants with firmly accepted offers by the end of April will automatically considered.
• Applicants must submit their application in the first or second round of applications.
• Any applications made in the third round will not be considered. 
• Applicants must also accept their offer by the end of April.
