Scholarship Overview

Engineering Society Leadership Excellence Award is a type of scholarship which is offered at University of Waterloo to those international students who are pursuing a Bachelors Degree. This is a Merit Based Scholarship, which is provided to only single student. Engineering Society Leadership Excellence Award are valued at CAD 1000 for single student who qualify from University of Waterloo. Also, the Engineering Society Leadership Excellence Award is a one time tuition reducing scholarship, offered in the first year of Bachelors Degree only. Applications for Engineering Society Leadership Excellence Award at University of Waterloo are filed separately. Bachelor degree is required for applicants to be eligible for this scholarship. Along with the Engineering Society Leadership Excellence Award application. The eligibility of the students to qualify for Engineering Society Leadership Excellence Award would solely depend on the applicant’s admission to University of Waterloo Bachelors Degree, his/her aptitude for an overall contribution towards University of Waterloo community and of course the academic achievements.

• An award, valued at $1,000, is presented each term to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in any term from 1B-4B of any Faculty of Engineering program who has displayed exceptional leadership within the University, Faculty of Engineering, or community at large.
