The scholarship is a tuition fee discount of 25% of the published tuition fee for the entirety of their degree.
The second component, Fed Degree-Plus courses that allow students to study from a range of credential, short courses, and certificates, is valued up to $2,000. Students will have the opportunity to select from a range of programs during their degree.
Therefore, this component of the scholarship is applied as a voucher during the studying of the degree program.

Applicants are automatically assessed for scholarships when applying for a program at our Brisbane Campus. There is no need for a separate application.
On accepting the offer into the program, acceptance of the scholarship is automatic.
Scholarship Application

Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at Federation University Australia, Brisbane Campus.
Applicants are required to pay fees due in advance as outlined in the official International Student Offer and Acceptance Agreement, including Overseas Student Health Cover.
The initiative one component of the package is payable as a 25% fee reduction on the full tuition fee for each course and will be calculated on the basis of the number of courses enrolled in during each semester.
The Fed Degree-Plus scholarship component is applied when the student is enrolled in their main program and has chosen their preferred Fed Degree-Plus course.
To continue receiving the scholarship package into future semesters or until the Fed Degree-Plus funds are exhausted, awardees must maintain their enrolment with the University, at the study location specified in their offer letter. If an awardee is approved compassionate or compelling leave from studies for a semester, the scholarship package will be reinstated on their return to study.
The scholarship package is non-refundable and may not be transferred to a cash amount.
If an awardee withdraws from a course of study after the applicable semester census date, they will be able to retain the scholarship package provided they continue to meet the scholarship package conditions.
If an awardee withdraws from the program, they will forfeit the scholarship package.
The scholarship package cannot be deferred into commencement in a future calendar year.
