Ferguson Scholarship at the Aston University are designed to provide financial assistance to talented students from all over the world who wish to pursue their studies. Eligibility

  • Applicants must :-
    • Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for one of the above courses
    • Be a national from India or an African country
    • Hold a 2:1 degree or equivalent in a relevant subject for the course you are applying for
    • Provide a strong personal statement when submitting the course application
    • Be a self-funded student

  • An official academic transcript, with an official English translation, of the university grades to date
  • Proof of English language proficiency
  • Personal Statement - A personal statement (250 words max) that explains your interest in the subject area, shows non-academic achievements or activities that you wish to be considered, and demonstrates how the course will support your career plans
  • Copy of Passport
  • Sponsor letter, if appropriate/available
  • CV (Optional)
  • Two references (one academic and one employer)

  • If successful, students will have to contribute approximately £9,200 towards their MSc tuition fees. Please note students will be required to provide evidence to the UKVI that they can contribute this amount plus living costs
