Scholarship Overview

Freshman Non-Resident Tuition Scholarship at the Mississippi State University are designed to provide financial assistance to talented students from all over the world who wish to pursue their studies. This Merit Based scholarship covers tuition of candidates. This is a Merit Based scholarship offering 16000 USD majorly covering the tuition. This scholarship offers to contribute towards the course. The number of awards Varies depending upon the university each year. To be eligible for this grant, applicants must have taken the 12th grade. Students from abroad must take English proficiency exams like TOEFL, IELTS in order to be eligible for this award.

Eligibility

MSU offers (automatic) general scholarships to entering freshmen based on:

• 3.5 grade-point average (overall GPA submitted on the official high school transcript or core GPA calculated by MSU on a 4.0 scale from 9-11 grades)
• Official ACT/SAT scores submitted directly to MSU
• Students must enroll as full-time students in the semester in which the award is received.
• Renewal of scholarships and non-resident scholarships is based on maintaining continuous full-time enrollment and maintaining the required GPA as listed in the scholarship offer
