Scholarship Overview

Dalhousie University offers the General Entrance Award program Scholarship. Every , the International Students Office of Dalhousie University awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. General Entrance Award program Scholarship is applicable for Bachelors Degree and Bachelors Diploma. The award is applicable for the courses like Diploma in Engineering,Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business,Bachelor of Computer Science,Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering,Bachelor of Management,Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management (Co-op),Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering,Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering,Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering. If we consider the amount of the General Entrance Award program Scholarship, then it varies each semester. The applicants should review the scholarship application in order to fully understand the availability and amount for that particular semester. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. Foreign students wishing to apply for this scholarship must take English proficiency exams such as TOEFL, IELTS and PTE. Eligibility

• 80% admission average or 26 predicted/anticipated IB Diploma points is required
• TOEFL: No lower than 20 in each band
• IELTS: No lower than 6.0 in each band
• PTE: No lower than 50 in each skill
• The admission average is calculated based upon the five required courses for the program to which the student has applied
