Scholarship Overview

Global Excellence Scholarship is offered by the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities . Global Excellence Scholarship is awarded to Bachelors Degree students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. This Merit Based scholarship will be given on a yearly basis. The scholarship amount can be used for tuition. The maximum scholarship amount a student can get is USD 25000. Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship if they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. In this case, they need not submit a separate application for applying to this scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE.

Eligibility

• Students must maintain their F-1 immigration status to remain eligible for this scholarship
• All international freshmen students are automatically considered for the Global Excellence Scholarship (a merit-based scholarship for international students)
